You can use it individually, or use one type for a week and then try another one next week to understand which regime works better for your skin.

Overall the skin took on a healthy appearance and a natural glow. So as you can see, there are lots of positive comments on the internet about LED face masks.

LED Face Mask Before and After

I’ve been testing the LED face mask for the last 2 months and here are my before and after results:

Led face mask before and after

Because of the unhealthy lifestyle, lack of sleep, and pressure, acne became a very prevalent skin disorder, and I’m not an exception.

Speaking about my skin, I have been struggling with mild acne and acne scars for 5 years now. Modern medicine clinics offer many ways to get rid of acne and to make your skin look smoother, but let’s be honest, not all of them work, needless to say, some of them are also pretty expensive. I tried many procedures in clinics, like peeling, phototherapy, plus medical treatment, but still, I didn’t get the results I expected.

So I decided to try an at-home LED face mask, coz I really enjoyed the results of LED light therapy that I did in a clinic, but didn’t want to pay 100$ for one procedure every time.

Speaking of an LED face mask’s regimes, I prefer using mixed light, coz I have many acne spots, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation, so I find the mixed light is most suitable for me because combined lights are effective for both healing and rejuvenation.

For the first 2 weeks, I was using the mask only 3-4 times a week for 10 minutes before bed or in the morning. After a week of using the mask, the first thing I realized was that all the acne I had that time was fading away faster. After 2 weeks I only had a couple of small pimples on my elbow and the hyperpigmentation that I usually have in summer(freckles on my nose and cheeks) started to fade away.

After using the mask I prefer to use lotion first (sometimes I use it before applying the mask if my skin feels dry) and then apply a moisturizer.

In the 3rd week, I started to use it 5-6 times a week for 10-15 minutes, sometimes I even fell asleep wearing it.

After 2 months of using the LED face mask, I almost didn’t have any new breakouts and even if I did, it didn’t leave any scarring behind, which is already a huge result for me. Hyperpigmentation almost disappeared and generally, skin looks smoother and fresh.

All in all, if you want to reach better results, I would recommend you to be patient and keep on using the LED face mask constantly for at least 1-2 months and you won’t be disappointed with the results.
